Noraini graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in 2007 with Bachelor of Legal Studies with Honours. Thereafter, she obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the same university in 2009.
She immediately joined the firm in 2009 where she undertook her 9-month pupillage under the tutelage of Mr Syed Fadzil Alhabshi. Upon being called to the Bar on 23rd April 2010 she was retained in the same department.
Working closely under her mentor, Mr Syed Fadzil Alhabshi, Noraini’s forte lies in General Litigation, Corporate Banking and Islamic Banking Practice.
She handles various litigation matters including but not limited to banking litigation, commercial breach of contract, probate matters and general litigation matters. She also manages various litigation portfolios for the Firm, which include those of some of the country’s major banks.
Noraini advises clients from various industries – banking, automotive, construction, general merchants and even individuals on a wide range of legal issues including (but not limited to) contract, compliance, negligence, fraud, probate and administration.
Noraini has been with the firm since 2010 and was made partner of the firm in 2024.

Hapizi graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University. He was called to the Malaysian Bar on 11th March 2004 and practices in the Litigation Department.
Before joining the Firm, Hapizi practiced in the Banking & Finance Division of one of Malaysia’s largest law firms. Hapizi joined the Firm as a Senior Associate in 2010 and has since continued to grow his banking portfolio.
Hapizi regularly appears at all levels of the Malaysian Courts. He acts for numerous major banks and financial institutions wherein he manages various litigation portfolios – particularly those relating to debt recovery & insolvency. His practice also includes advisory services for panel clients on a wide range of legal issues, but particularly on matters relating to both conventional and Islamic banking, regulatory compliance, and contractual issues.
Hapizi was admitted as partner of the Firm in 2024.

Daniel Chuah Chen Yean graduated with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Hons from Multimedia University in the year 2010. Daniel commenced his pupillage and read in the Chambers of Dato’ John Clark Sumugod. On 5th May 2011, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
Daniel was retained as an Associate on 1st June 2011 and was promoted to become a Senior Associate on 1st July 2017. On 2nd April 2021, Daniel was made a Partner of the Firm.
Daniel’s area of practice encompasses Contractual Disputes, Hire Purchase Matters, Debt Recovery, Construction and Engineering Disputes, Arbitration, Corporate And Commercial Litigation, Probate, Letter Of Administration, Bankruptcy, Winding-Up, Foreclosure, Land Disputes, Corporate Insolvency, Land and Vehicle Forfeiture Matters, General Litigation and more recently, adjudication proceedings under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012 (CIPAA).
Daniel has conducted numerous trials and hearings in the Magistrate Court, Sessions Court, High Court and Appeals in the Court of Appeal.
Daniel also advises various Financial Institutions (including Islamic financial institutions), public listed companies, international companies and construction companies on matters relating to his practice areas and day to day legal issues requested by our panel clients.
Daniel regularly gives talks to panel clients on court proceedings, enforcement proceedings as well as new developments in case law and legislation.
