Presentation on Recovery Actions at CGC Headquarters

On 28^th May 2024 our Partners Encik Syed Fadzil and Puan Noraini Yacob together with Ms Farah Diana Addrus conducted a presentation at CGC Headquarters on the Process and Procedure in Recovery Actions and on the new amendments to The Insolvency Act 2023. 

The Insolvency (Amendment) Act 2023 was gazetted on 11th August 2023 and came into force on 06.10.2023. It has a substantial effect on financial institutions, particularly in respect of the additional categories of bankrupt individuals who can be discharged under Section 33B(2A) and the amendment to the automatic discharge provision under Section 33C.
